Sacred Heart School for the Arts has been providing arts education to the Louisville community for more than 50 years. Founded by the Ursuline Sisters, SHSA is committed to creating and providing a culture of excellence in teaching that provides outstanding opportunities in visual arts, dance, music, and drama.
SHSA is seeking instructors in piano and voice to join our team of educators committed to the mission and vision of teaching artists of all ages to pursue excellence in their craft, health in their bodies and joy in the process.
Classes are both during the school day and evening. We are specifically looking for availability during the day on Wednesdays from 12:40-2:40 to teach general music to grades 2-3; and then from 12:40-1:40 on Fridays to teach ORFF/General Music to first graders. In addition, we have need for private instruction both in voice and piano beginning at 3pm a few days a week (M-TH instructor’s preference).

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Teaching experience required. The ideal candidate should be a person of high character, exceptional organizational skills, a love for the creative process, and a demonstrated passion for teaching.
