Description
Sacred Heart Academy seeks a full-time, ten-month School Nurse effective immediately. The primary role of the School Nurse is to advance the well-being, academic success, and lifelong achievement of students at Sacred Heart Academy. The School Nurse facilitates positive student development, promotes health and safety, intervenes with actual and potential health concerns, provides case management services, and actively collaborates with others to help build a healthy school environment.
Candidate should possess a professional manner and welcoming presence; sensitivity to confidential information; attention to detail; strong computer, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; excellent organizational and time-management skills; and the ability to establish and rearrange priorities.

Requirements
Minimum bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Registered nursing license in the state of Kentucky required. Three-five years of experience in school nursing preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Applicants must submit to a criminal background check and attend a safe environment training program.
