Sacred Heart Model School seeks a committed and nurturing educator to fill a full-time 2nd Grade Teaching position beginning with the 2025/26 school year. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Roman Catholic who will teach general elementary subjects including religion and will prepare students for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion. SHMS is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. The IB PYP approaches to teaching and learning are centered on developing the whole child through a cycle of action, inquiry, and reflection. SHMS classrooms are student-centered. The IB philosophy places a strong emphasis on critical thinking, cooperative group work and social responsibility.

Teacher Certification is required. Practicing Roman Catholic.
