Sacred Heart Model School seeks a committed and nurturing educator to fill a full-time visual arts Art Teacher Position beginning with the 2024/25 school year. The full-time visual arts teacher will teach students across the whole school in grades junior kindergarten to eighth grade. SHMS is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. The IB approaches to teaching and learning are centered on developing the whole child through a cycle of action, inquiry, and reflection, which will also be applied in the art classroom. SHMS classrooms are student-centered. The IB philosophy places a strong emphasis on critical thinking, cooperative group work and social responsibility.

Teacher Certification is required.
