The Director of Mission Integration assists the President of Sacred Heart Schools (SHS) and the Board of Trustees in maintaining and integrating the philosophy, mission, and values of the Ursuline Sisters in all aspects of the organizational life of SHS. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position with accountability to the President of Sacred Heart Schools.

Key Responsibilities
- Be a role model of the Ursuline core values of Leadership, Reverence, Community and Service in all aspects of school and personal life. Assists the BOT in establishing strategic goals and basic objectives for the campus.
- Provides the inspiration for and facilitates the successful implementation of the mission.
- Demonstrates through evaluation the effectiveness of mission throughout the organization.
- Conducts orientation and ongoing education of trustees, school personnel, students, parents, and alumni concerning mission, values, and heritage.
- Provides continued support to school personnel through retreat-like sessions and personal contact.
- Encourages administrators to model the values of SHS.
- Challenges that decisions be made in the light of mission.
- Develops in-service programs that embody the values of SHS.
- Supports and promotes the cornerstone of diversity throughout SHS.
- Serves at the pleasure of the president on committees and programs.
- Works closely with Director of Equity and Community in promoting Catholic Social Teaching.
- Supports the Strategic Plan and the oversees and implements mission components in the plan.
- Oversees and supervises the Office of Catholic Identity/Mission.
- Acts as a liaison to the Ursuline sisters.
- Coordinates training for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and ensures the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd continues in the preschool.
- Coordinates and facilitates St. Angela retreats with all constituents.
- Ensures students participate in Catholic traditions i.e., mass, reconciliation, adoration, stations of the cross, rosary, etc.
- Organizes and facilitates the mission ambassadors from each school.
- Brings the life of St. Angela alive on campus.

- Active practicing Catholic.
- Knowledge of the mission, values, and heritage of the Ursuline Sisters.
- Masters degree preferred with background in theology, religious studies, ministry, liturgy, education, or a related field.
- Five to seven years’ experience in any one or more of the following: education, pastoral ministry, governance, formation.
- Ongoing Catechesis Training with the Archdiocese of Louisville.
- Ability to share faith and to articulate faith experience.
- Ability to articulate the mission, charism, and history of the Ursuline Sisters.
- Current knowledge and understanding of theology, liturgy, education, moral and justice issues.
- Skills necessary for preparing and implementing mission development programs.
- Ability to teach, listen, lead, support, and build community.
- Ability to work comfortably in a consultative capacity.
- Ability to communicate in both written and oral forms with a cross section of groups.
- A team player, formation director, communicator and a prophet with creativity, flexibility, integrity, and openness.
- Ability to work independently and/or in teams.
