This endowed scholarship was established by Tom and Jane Miranda Elpers ’55 in memory of Rosa Lee Amshoff Miranda ‘23 and in appreciation of the life enriching value of the excellent educational foundation and strong spiritual formation the Miranda/Elpers family received at Sacred Heart Schools and a desire to provide such benefits to future generations of young women at SHA. Candidates must demonstrate a financial need, be academically motivated and maintain a 2.5 GPA at Sacred Heart Academy.

Need-based scholarships offered by Sacred Heart Schools require a family to also submit a financial aid application to FACTS. Information on this process can be found on each school's Tuition Assistance and Scholarships page.

Need-based scholarships administered by Sacred Heart Schools are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to submit financial aid and scholarship application materials by the date listed on each school's Tuition Assistance and Scholarships page.

Other Requirements

Sacred Heart Academy cannot award incoming freshman students tuition assistance or scholarships until they have completed the High School Placement Test. Incoming SHA transfer students must complete a transfer application before they may be considered for tuition assistance or scholarships. A separate application must be submitted for each applicant per household.
