Sacred Heart Schools Strategic Plan 2026 – 2031

During the 2025-2026 school year, a strategic planning committee was assembled, comprised of board members, faculty, staff, administrators, parents, alums, and executive leadership. After much discussion, the Board of Trustees for Sacred Heart Schools approved five aspirations, along with their respective goals and objectives.

This document will guide Sacred Heart Schools in its strategic direction from 2026-2031. The plan is entitled “Act, Move, Believe,” embracing the powerful words of St. Angela Merici: "Act, move, believe, strive, hope, cry out to Him with all your heart, for without doubt you will see marvelous things."

Below is a list of the five aspirations statements that will guide the “Act, Move, Believe” strategic plan through 2031.

1. Embody the Catholic faith and Ursuline tradition, as we form students, administrators, staff, and faculty who are grounded in Catholic principles and lead with compassion, serving the needs of others with humility, courage, and responsibility as they put their faith in action.

2. Shape the whole student through mission-centered, innovative learning so every student is globally minded and prepared to thrive with confidence, creativity, and critical thinking.

3. Cultivate excellence in our administrators, faculty, and staff as we recruit, develop, and retain exceptional educators and team members who are mentors and leaders, energized by the Catholic Ursuline mission, supported to grow professionally, and equipped to serve students with expertise and compassion.

4. Steward our campus and facilities - prioritizing proactive upkeep, safety, and exceptional student-oriented facilities through long-range planning that honors our Ursuline heritage while equipping Sacred Heart for the future.

5. Build a strong, connected, and engaged community among students, families, staff, faculty, alumni, and donors who are united in our Ursuline Core Values and committed to creating meaningful impact in our community and the world.
