Sacred Heart Schools welcomes Andrea Diggs as Executive Director of Sacred Heart School for the Arts. She succeeds Dr. Anna Jo Paul.
Diggs is a native of Madisonville, KY and a classically trained pianist from the age of four. She received her BME from Murray State University (Piano/Voice) and a MM Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Louisville. She also has her Administrative Leadership Certification from Western Kentucky University. She has taught every grade level from preschool to seniors in college, worked with community and professional choirs, theatres, ensembles and production companies.
An active performer with dance and theater experience, Diggs continues to work both behind the scenes and on stage. Other experiences that lend to her expertise in the arts include: nine years of experience in marching and orchestral band, seven years of experience with Suzuki Strings, 10 years with dance companies, 15 years working with community theatre, private vocal coaching and piano instruction. She is a former professor at Simmons College of Kentucky.
