Description
SHSA is seeking a front desk & after school coordinator to join our team. SHSA is inspiring the next generation of artists while making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people every day. This position is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who serves as the welcoming face of our thriving after-school arts program. Each afternoon, students from 48 schools across Kentuckiana arrive for music, dance, theatre, and visual arts classes, making this a fast-paced and rewarding position. This is a 25-hour per week position. Work hours are Monday through Friday 2:00 - 7:00pm.
Responsibilities include:
· Managing student check-in and check-out procedures
· Tracking student transportation and attendance
· Ensuring every student is safely accounted for throughout the afternoon
· Greeting and assisting parents and visitors
· Answering phones and responding to family questions
· Supporting instructors and classrooms as needed
· Supervising high school classroom interns

· Able to manage multiple responsibilities with accuracy

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Experience working with children, schools, or customer service is preferred. Completed background check and Safe Environment Training upon hiring.
