Description
Sacred Heart Academy seeks a Campus Minister starting with the 2026/27 school year. The Campus Minister advances Sacred Heart Academy’s Catholic mission and Ursuline charism by fostering a vibrant faith community that supports the spiritual formation of students, faculty, and staff. Rooted in a contemplative love of God that inspires service, this role focuses on prayer, liturgy, discipleship, and student leadership, helping young women integrate faith into their daily lives and grow as leaders for the Church and world. The Campus Minister reports to the Office of Catholic Identity and supports SHA school Administration by working collaboratively with the Retreat Coordinator, Director of Stewardship and Service, Theology Department, and the Office of Catholic Identity and Ursuline Charism to ensure a cohesive, mission-driven approach to campus ministry that honors Catholic Ursuline tradition while welcoming students from diverse faith backgrounds.

Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Theology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

· Experience: 3-5 years in educational program development, youth ministry, or student advising, preferably in a Catholic school setting.

· Skills: Excellent communication and facilitation skills; proficiency in technology; ability to create engaging materials. Strong understanding of positive psychology, growth mindset, and stewardship theology.

· Personal Attributes: Deep faith commitment, empathy, creativity, and a positive, encouraging demeanor. Ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion and compassion.

· Other Requirements: Background check and compliance with diocesan safe environment policies. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends for events.

· Must be a practicing Catholic whose Catholic faith is central to your life.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
