SHA IB Diploma Programme results released

Twenty-eight students at Sacred Heart Academy celebrate their success as results for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme are published across the world. SHA IB Diploma students are heading to universities such as Johns Hopkins University, University of Notre Dame, Northwestern University, Georgetown University, University of Edinburgh and St. Louis University.

The following students earned the prestigious IB Diploma by completing a rigorous two-year curriculum of IB courses, satisfactorily passing 25 hours of international examinations, completing a minimum of 150 hours of Creativity, Action and Service (CAS), and writing a 4000-word extended essay on a topic of their choice under the guidance of a faculty member. Sacred Heart Academy's 100% pass rate for the IB Diploma is well above the global pass rate of 78%.

Sacred Heart Academy has been offering the International Baccalaureate's IB Diploma Programme since 1999, with a life-time pass rate of 96.7%. The programme is designed to give students a broad, well-rounded international education and the skills needed for success at university and beyond. These students join the 157,488 students testing in the IB Diploma Programme this year in 139 countries around the world.
