Sacred Heart School for the Arts announces 2018-19 Performance Season

Andrea Diggs, executive director of Sacred Heart School for the Arts, has announced that the school's 2018-19 performance season will open with a Youth Drama production of The Princess and the Pauper. Season highlights also include favorites: Steel Magnolias, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Nutcracker Ballet. Each production is associated with a performance opportunity for students throughout Kentuckiana, grades Pre-K through 12, enrolled in the Sacred Heart School for the Arts afterschool programs.

The complete 2018-19 season includes the following productions:

The Princess and the Pauper
(Youth Drama)
October 26 and 27

Thoroughly Modern Millie
(A co-production with Sacred Heart Academy)
November 9, 10, 11, 16 and 17

Bah, Humbug!
(Intermediate Drama)
November 30 and December 1

The Tale of the Drowsy Shepherd
(Beginning Drama)
December 6

The Nutcracker
(Dance)
December 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16

Steel Magnolias
(A co-production with Sacred Heart Academy)
March 8, 9 and 10

A Little Princess
(Intermediate Drama)
April 12 and 13

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
(Youth Drama)
April 26 and 27

Kitty Cat Capers
(Beginning Drama)
May 9

Storybook Ballet – Beauty and the Beast
(Dance)
May 10, 11 and 12

All productions will be at the Ursuline Arts Center on the Ursuline Campus, with the exception of the Beginning Drama Productions. Beginning Drama Productions will be performed in the Angela Hall Recital Hall.
