Sacred Heart School for the Arts Presents Disney's The Lion King Jr.

Students from area schools will perform in the Sacred Heart School for the Arts youth drama production of Disney's The Lion King Jr., April 27 at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and April 28 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. All shows will be at the Ursuline Arts Center, bldg. #5, on the Ursuline Campus at 3105 Lexington Rd. Tickets for the April 21 morning performance are $4. All other performances are $5 for students/senior citizens and $8 for adults. Tickets can be purchased online at showtix4u.com or at the door. The African drums will beat for all young audiences when the characters, Simba, Rafiki, Pumba and Timon grace the stage in this Disney masterpiece. The Lion King, Jr.is a coming-of-age tale for the inhabitants of Pride Rock. The young lion, Simba, learns how to survive the obstacles and threats in the savannah with the help of humorous and wise companions. The familiar songs of Elton John and Tim Rice enhance the story of love and family traditions in the animal kingdom. This is a must-see production for all ages!
