"LYC strives to meet unmet artistic needs in our community.A choir for this age level assures that even the youngest singers have the opportunity to explore vocal music. The vast majority of schools are not able to afford this opportunity to elementary age singers—we are fortunate that we can," says Terri E. Foster, artistic/executive director of The Louisville Youth Choir.
The Louisville Youth Choir is comprised of over 100 singers from more than 60 schools and home schools in the Louisville and southern Indiana areas.
