Q&A:
Additional professional experience or details to share?
As assistant director, I have served on several Sacred Heart Schools committees including the District Handbook Committee, District Improvement Team, and the Diversity team. This has allowed me to work with the other administrators of SHS in an effort to unite our schools, support our faculty with professional development opportunities and facilitate and embrace our diverse community.

What makes SHP such a great school?
SHP is such a great school thanks to our dedicated, passionate teachers and staff, and our amazing families. SHP offers parents the unique choice of two learning paths for children that both develop independent, creative, confident thinkers. SHP has created a legacy of excellence because we are setting the foundation for lifelong learning by our holistic approach to early childhood education. Our curriculums develop the “whole” child; socially, emotionally, academically, physically, and spiritually.
How will your role change from assistant director to director? I will dive deeper into administrative duties, yet maintain my supportive relationships with the teachers, children and families. I will work more to develop collaborative opportunities with the other schools on the Ursuline Campus, and build on the integration programs that we already have in place.
How does your Montessori administrator certification benefit you as director and SHP overall? My Administrator Credential will allow me to further support and strengthen our Montessori Program. It will also help all of our teachers use proven strategies and techniques that will be intertwined in our Progressive classrooms to help develop our young learners into leaders.
