Description
The Office Assistant provides general support to the Executive Director and Administrative Assistant with customer service, clerical duties and general office operations and management. The Office Assistant works with the school’s staff and parents providing courteous, friendly, and professional assistance. This position is responsible for coordinating substitute teachers and may be called upon to cover class until the substitute teacher arrives. Work hours are Monday through Thursday 3pm to 8pm.

Requirements
- Typing, answering phone, computer skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word & EXCEL, Exchange and internet browsers are necessary
- Must have at least minimal office management experience
- Knowledge of filing procedures
- Good communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to multi-task and follow-through on tasks
- Must be personable and willing to assist parents, students, and teachers
- Ability to work independently and/or in teams
- Dresses professionally at all times
- Must complete a criminal background check and Safe Environment Training upon hire
